Our Organisation - it's all about delivery

AW Jenkinson Forest Products currently handle over 2.2 million tonnes of wood fibre, bark, paper products and recyclables and is the largest bark processor in the UK.

Our processing, trading and services to the forestry, sawmilling, pulp and paper, wood-based panels, agriculture, horticulture and amenity markets are underpinned with an in-house haulage operation and a modern fleet of specialised vehicles.

In excess of 200 vehicles are owned and operated by the company, with a further 100+ vehicles under the permanent management of the AW Jenkinson transport team.

By utilising this resource to the full and ensuring that vehicles run empty as little as possible, haulage costs can be kept to a minimum and so both sawmillers and wood co-product customers benefit.

Some 210 trailers of various types (walking floors, bulk tippers and curtain siders) make up the fleet.

On any one day our transport team can organise up to 1000 loads, moving goods throughout the UK and more recently, Europe.
